47% of Plaque-Free Adults Show Coronary Inflammation in Biograph's CaRi-Heart Study
About 47% of participants with no detectable coronary plaque showed elevated coronary perivascular inflammation (inflammation in the fat around the coronary arteries) in Biograph's first U.S. study of Caristo Diagnostics' CaRi-Heart, published October 22, 2026. All were asymptomatic, low-risk Black tier members of the clinic. The study reports prevalence, not subsequent cardiovascular events.
