Blackpool, Sheffield, Milton Keynes and Wrexham Shortlisted for UK City of Culture 2029

Blackpool, Sheffield, Milton Keynes and Wrexham have been shortlisted to become UK City of Culture 2029, the UK title awarded through a bidding competition. They were chosen from a longlist of nine. Each will receive £125,000 to develop its bid. The winner, to be announced in the new year, will get a further £10m to help fund events.
