Amazon's Mass Effect TV Series Still in Development After BioWare Closure

Amazon MGM Studios' planned Mass Effect live-action series remains in development, according to IGN reporting cited by Video Games Chronicle on 22 October 2026. Electronic Arts announced the closure of BioWare and cancellation of the next Mass Effect game in an update dated 21 October 2026. All previously announced creatives remain attached to the show.
