Campo Maximo cricket ground under construction on Spain's Costa Blanca

Australian entrepreneur Daniel Weston is overseeing construction of Campo Maximo, a cricket ground in Playa Flamenca, about 45 minutes from Alicante. Weston wants it to become the "home of European cricket" and said he would love to see a Test match there. The first ball is expected in 2028, with full operations due in 2029. No Test has been scheduled.
