Capcom says data breach exposed 11,774,247 Capcom ID accounts; card details unaffected

Capcom says an attacker gained unauthorised access to details of 11,774,247 Capcom ID accounts. Capcom ID is the free account needed for online features of some games, such as Street Fighter 6. Credit card information was not affected, Capcom said. Email addresses and login details were accessed. Capcom says it will notify affected users and warns of fraudulent emails.
