Les Éditions du Boréal has ended its relationship with author Thélyson Orélien. It cites information indicating artificial intelligence (AI, software that generates text) was used in his novel It Was Either That or Die. An analysis found AI traces in file metadata. Orélien says he used AI for historical research. It says it will likely never know the extent.
