Man charged after allegedly threatening staff with nunchucks at WA minister Hannah Beazley's office

A 56-year-old Perth man has been charged after allegedly making verbal threats while carrying nunchucks (a martial arts weapon) at WA local government minister Hannah Beazley's Victoria Park office on Wednesday. Nobody was injured, and Beazley was not in the office. Electoral staff called police. The man was refused bail. The charges are allegations not yet tested in court.
