Representatives of all six parties attend former Speaker Adrian Rurawhe's tangihanga

Representatives from all six parties in Parliament attended the tangihanga, the traditional Māori funeral and mourning process, of former Speaker Adrian Rurawhe at Whangaehu Marae. Rurawhe, who was Speaker, Parliament's presiding officer, held Te Tai Hauāuru for Labour from 2014 to 2023. He retired from Parliament on Waitangi Day 2026.
