Labour will not engage on Ukraine's military drone offer if elected

Labour will not engage on Ukraine's offer to help develop military drones if it wins office, defence spokesperson Damien O'Connor said at an Auckland meeting on Wednesday. In a statement to RNZ, he said Labour would not support buying lethal autonomous weapons, which act without a person choosing each target, and would back international efforts to ban them.
