Penguin showrunner Lauren LeFranc in talks to produce Poison Ivy TV series

Lauren LeFranc, showrunner of HBO's The Penguin, is in talks to join a Poison Ivy TV series as a producer, not a writer, Deadline reported, citing sources, on 21 October 2026. Showrunner means the head writer-producer. No deal is signed, no writers are attached and no lead actor is cast. If picked up, the series would go to HBO.
