FCC set to block machine-readable broadband pricing, crippling independent rate trackers

The FCC votes July 22 on rules that would eliminate ISP requirements to publish structured pricing data via API, forcing aggregators and comparison sites back to manual extraction or abandonment. The Commission would also permit hyperlinked instead of embedded labels, narrowing access to independent rate-tracking tools.
