New FCC rule would make it harder to compare broadband prices online

On July 22, the FCC votes on rules that would block internet providers from sharing their prices in machine-readable format — essentially, data that comparison websites can read and organize automatically. Without it, comparing broadband plans would become much harder or impossible for independent sites.
