EA Shutting Down BioWare, Studio Behind Mass Effect and Dragon Age

Electronic Arts is shutting down BioWare, the studio behind Mass Effect, Dragon Age and Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic, according to a company confirmation reported by The Verge. The staff announcement was attributed to EA presidents Cam Weber and David Tinson. Staff reassignments and intellectual property (IP) ownership were not addressed.
