Brad Lander Released With Warning After Israeli Forces Detain Him at West Bank Olive Harvest

Israeli forces detained Brad Lander, a New York Democratic congressional nominee, near the West Bank village of Nahalin on October 21, 2026, along with about 80 volunteers helping Palestinians harvest olives. Organisers Protect the Harvest say Lander was released with a warning while the others were still held. Soldiers said the area was a closed military zone.
