Mark Allen reveals 10-week mental health clinic stay before Northern Ireland Open

Mark Allen has revealed he spent 10 weeks in a mental health clinic, discharging himself early to prepare for his Northern Ireland Open match. The 40-year-old lost in the first round to Jordan Brown on Tuesday, his first event after five months away. Allen said he plans to continue treatment and is in a "bad place at the minute".
