To Hold a Mountain makers say they became "enemies of the state" while filming in Montenegro

Biljana Tutorov, co-director of To Hold a Mountain, said she, co-director Petar Glomazić and protagonist Gara Jovanović became "enemies of the state" while making the Sundance Grand Jury Award winner in Montenegro. She made the remark on a Deadline Doc Talk panel recorded live at the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, Arkansas, as Deadline reported on 20 October 2026.
