Matthew Hobbs sues Kroger and LG over 'Cheese Tax' TikTok use

Matthew Hobbs filed copyright infringement lawsuits against Kroger and LG Electronics on Oct. 19, alleging both used his viral TikTok song "Cheese Tax" in brand videos without synch licences, the paid permission to pair music with advertising, Billboard reported. Both videos were taken down in April after legal demands, the suits say.
