Former MTV worker says fear of being “seen as trouble” delayed Brand rape report

Deadline reported Complainant 3 told Southwark Crown Court she did not report alleged July 2004 oral rape by Russell Brand until 2023, fearing being “seen as trouble”. She told the court the “media industry protects its own”, Deadline reported. Brand, 51, denies all charges and has pleaded not guilty, Deadline reported.
