Barber wrestled driver to ground after alleged attack on MP Helen Haines
Independent MP Helen Haines had one leg amputated after allegedly being hit twice by a car outside her office in Wangaratta, Victoria, at about 3.35pm on Monday. Local barber Ricky Jefferies pulled the driver from the Toyota and wrestled him to the ground while others helped Haines. Jefferies alleged the driver had a knife which was thrown away.
