14 killed in illegal gold mine collapse in southwest Colombia

Fourteen people were killed and seven others wounded when an illegal gold mine collapsed in the Chambero area of Santa Barbara de Iscuande, in Nariño province in southwestern Colombia, authorities said Oct. 19. Nariño's governor said search and rescue operations have concluded.
