Queen Mary debuts reworked 1898 sapphire tiara at Vietnam state banquet

Queen Mary of Denmark wore Queen Alexandrine's reworked sapphire jewel for the first time on 19 October 2026, Hello! reported. She wore it at the state banquet at Christiansborg Palace during the President of Vietnam's state visit. The Danish Royal Collection, custodian of the crown jewels, bought the 1898 piece back from a private owner in 2024.
