Labour on 29.7%, National on 27.6% in close poll

Labour is on 29.7 percent and National on 27.6 percent in a Post/Freshwater Strategy poll of 1,458 voters surveyed 9 to 19 October, RNZ reported. The gap is within the poll's margin of error of plus or minus 3 percent. RNZ reported it leaves the election on a knife-edge, where a fraction of a point could decide who governs.
