Massey Klein Gallery in New York to close after nine years

Massey Klein Gallery in New York will close its 124 Forsyth Street space on Manhattan's Lower East Side after nine years. Husband-and-wife owners Garrett Klein and Ryan Massey announced the closure in a Saturday Instagram post, saying the fixed-gallery model was no longer sustainable. ARTnews reported the 1,000-square-foot showroom cost just under US$10,000 a month in rent.
