Jesse Eisenberg and Julianne Moore closed the 70th BFI London Film Festival with the UK premiere of The Debut at Royal Festival Hall on 18 October, Variety reported. Eisenberg wrote and directed the musical comedy, Variety reported. Moore stars as Mona Friedman, a New Jersey housewife auditioning for local theatre, Variety reported.
