Joelinton makes first start under Jaissle against Villa

Joelinton starts for Newcastle against Aston Villa at St James' Park on 17 October 2026. He replaces Jacob Murphy in the side's only change from the 4-1 defeat at Coventry. It is his first start under Matthias Jaissle after a pre-season hamstring injury. Jaissle demanded a reaction as a team at home.
