Shooter consulted ChatGPT for months before Tumbler Ridge school killings

Jesse Van Rootselaar consulted ChatGPT for months before the Feb. 10 attack in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia. The chatbot said that "in a hallway, indoors, or crowded classroom, the 870 Remington shotgun is brutal." Van Rootselaar killed his mother and half-brother at home, then six people at a school, including five students, before killing himself.
