Interpol's Four-Continent Trafficking Sweep Nets 1,024 Arrests, 2,070 Victims

Operation Global Chain, a coordinated June enforcement action across 40 countries, arrested 1,024 suspects and identified 2,070 trafficking victims. Most were exploited sexually; one-fifth forced into criminal activity. The operation, involving Interpol, Europol, Frontex, and national police forces, triggered 465 follow-on investigations.
