Apple opens $1,999 iPhone Duo foldable pre-orders

$1,999 opens pre-orders for Apple's iPhone Duo foldable — a phone that folds in half — or $83.29 a month for the 256GB base model, Apple says. MarketWatch on Oct. 16 asked if it's worth $2,000 against rival foldables. 2TB versions cost more. I doubt sales hold unless buyers prize folding that much.
