Apple opens pre-orders for $1,999 iPhone Duo foldable

Apple has opened pre-orders for the iPhone Duo foldable, listed at $1,999 or $83.29 per month for 256GB, according to Apple. MarketWatch on Oct. 16 framed the question as whether the $2,000 device is worth it versus rival foldables. Higher storage tiers to 2TB will cost more. I'm skeptical volume holds unless buyers value the foldable form that highly.
