Anthropic Drops Git for In-House Scion System

Anthropic has replaced Git, the widely used tool for tracking code changes, with Scion, its own source control system built in-house. It works alongside Antique, a new system for reviewing code. The company described both in an Oct. 13, 2026 engineering post, "Redesigning source control at Anthropic."
