Anthropic Replaces Git With Custom Scion Source Control

Anthropic has replaced Git with Scion, a custom-built source control system, paired with Antique, a new code review system. The company detailed the project in its Oct. 13, 2026 engineering post, "Redesigning source control at Anthropic."
