CSE plans $1.85-billion data centre in Ottawa area

Canada's Communications Security Establishment plans a new 60-megawatt data centre on the Ottawa side of the National Capital Region, at an estimated cost of up to $1.85-billion. The government says it will post a contracting opportunity early next year. CSE, which handles technology security and foreign signals intelligence, says its current centre was designed over 15 years ago.
