Lawmakers propose US probe into banks linked to Epstein

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Rep. Robert Garcia and Rep. Thomas Massie unveiled the Epstein Wall Street Records Act. The proposal would require the Federal Reserve, the US central bank, and the SEC, which oversees markets, to investigate firms and executives linked to Jeffrey Epstein, who died in 2019 awaiting trial on child sex-trafficking charges, and disclose records.
