Republican Dissenters Question Haitian Deportations

Rep. Carlos Giménez warned on CBS that deporting Haitians with Temporary Protected Status would be disastrous—Haiti cannot safely receive them. The Miami-Dade Republican, whose family escaped Cuba, joins Mike DeWine and Mike Lawler in opposition. A June Supreme Court ruling eliminated legal options, leaving only Congress and the executive branch as remedies. GOP dissenters lack the votes to stop it.
