McKinsey to Test Entry-Level Candidates With AI Mayor Client

McKinsey will use a conversational AI avatar — an on-screen character that talks back — playing a mayor as the client in some entry-level consulting interviews this fall. Candidates will hold a spoken back-and-forth with the synthetic mayor as a dialogue-based assessment.
