Faber withdraws Sally Rooney books in UK over royalty donation pledge

Faber has withdrawn Irish novelist Sally Rooney’s books from sale in the United Kingdom, according to Publishers Marketplace. Rooney said she would donate her royalties, meaning her share of earnings from each copy, to Palestine Action. The group was labelled a terrorist organisation in the UK in 2025. Faber will continue sales elsewhere.
