Kallum Watkins replaces injured Morgan Smithies in England World Cup squad

Kallum Watkins, 35, has been called into England's Rugby League World Cup squad as a late replacement for Morgan Smithies, who withdrew after injury in training. The Leeds Rhinos second-rower, with 32 caps, will contest his fourth World Cup after 2013, 2017 and 2022. He previously played under England head coach Brian McDermott at Leeds.
