Nvidia says revised DLSS 5 is twice as fast with less video memory

Nvidia says its revised DLSS 5, due in October, runs twice as fast on RTX 50-series graphics cards and coming RTX Spark laptops. The AI upscaling model — software that renders games at lower resolution then sharpens them — is 24% smaller at about 118 million settings, and uses 20% less video memory at 4K resolution.
