ICE Searched Rep. Ilhan Omar's D.C. Home in Criminal Investigation

Federal agents from ICE's investigations unit, which handles criminal cases, searched Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar's Washington home early Oct. 12, 2026, in a criminal investigation. Omar, often criticized by the Trump administration, said it was "an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement."
