Carrington and Vicuña paired for New York and San Francisco exhibition

Lehmann Maupin in New York will open a two-part exhibition — work shown in two connected sections — pairing Cecilia Vicuña and Leonora Carrington on 19 November and it will travel to Gallery Wendi Norris in San Francisco in January 2027, the gallery says. ARTnews reported on 12 October 2026 that the two galleries organised the pairing jointly.
