Independent artists say DistroKid removed music without notice

Independent artists told The Verge their DistroKid-distributed music disappeared from streaming services without notice. Musician McGwire said six songs were removed, with no contact before or after. Rapper King Chase said an entire album by an artist he worked with, up for three to four years, was removed. DistroKid confirmed removals followed Universal Music Group claims.
