Greens push to block US execution livestream in Australia

Greens communications spokesperson Sarah Hanson-Young has written to Communications Minister Anika Wells and eSafety — Australia's online safety regulator — to block Australians seeing the 3 December US firing-squad execution of Nidal Malik Hasan. She wants YouTube, Meta, TikTok and streaming services put on notice, with penalties if they carry it. Making that stick is the hard part.
