Zelenskyy Says Trump's Energy Ceasefire Was News to Him

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Oct. 11, 2026 he had not been told about Donald Trump's announced energy ceasefire — a proposed pause on strikes against power plants and grids. Trump said both Ukraine and Russia agreed. Zelenskyy said Ukraine would join if Vladimir Putin does. A similar Trump claim in September proved untrue.
