Niffenegger finishes Time Traveler's Wife sequel after 14 years

Audrey Niffenegger has spent 14 years writing Life Out of Order, the sequel to The Time Traveler's Wife, published in 2003. She began work in 2012, just after Barack Obama's re-election, she told The Guardian in an interview published 10 October 2026. The gap spans more than two decades since the original novel.
