Hegseth sets 3 December for livestreamed firing-squad execution of Fort Hood shooter

US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth said former army psychiatrist Nidal Malik Hasan would be executed by firing squad on 3 December, with officials confirming the procedure would be livestreamed. Hasan was sentenced to death for killing 13 people at Fort Hood in 2009.
