Labour Holds Starmer's Holborn and St Pancras Seat in By-Election

Labour kept former prime minister Keir Starmer's north London seat of Holborn and St Pancras in the 8 October by-election. Camden council leader Sagal Abdi-Wali won with 12,292 votes; 38.7% of voters turned out. Starmer resigned 1 September, with Andy Burnham prime minister by polling day. Starmer's 2024 majority was 11,572.
