Brent holds above $104 as U.S. crude slips toward $91
Global benchmark Brent closed above $104 a barrel in early October 2026, while U.S. benchmark West Texas Intermediate fell toward $91 after a 3.6% jump Thursday, Bloomberg reports. In my view, that wider gap between European and U.S. prices risks pushing fuel costs — and overall inflation, or rising prices — higher in the near term.
