Labour promises extra payout for cancelled flights

Labour says big airlines would have to pay passengers compensation on top of a refund if flights are cancelled or changed a lot. The promise is part of its 2026 election policy, 'A Better Deal When You Fly'. The party says it would strengthen passenger rights for Kiwis.
