BMW iX4 Charges at 400 kW for 184 Miles in 10 Minutes

BMW's iX4 coupe SUV can charge at up to 400 kW on high-power DC chargers, using its 800-volt system — higher voltage allows faster charging — to add 184 miles in 10 minutes. Its sixth-generation pack holds 112.2 kWh of usable energy in 46 by 95mm cylindrical cells, 20 percent denser than fifth-generation prismatic cells.
