Meta Halves Claude Code Seats to 30,000, Pushes MetaCode

Meta has cut employee access to Claude Code, Anthropic's AI coding assistant, from 60,000 seats to 30,000. Staff had used it for coding, research and drafting messages. The company is steering workers toward MetaCode, its in-house tool. Meta remains one of Anthropic's largest corporate customers.
